Acoustic and electric guitar, vocalist, songwriter
1st Corinthians 9:22 drives both my personal walk with Jesus as well as my ministry. The Apostle Paul said, “I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.” Nothing more-nothing less-nothing else-I am committed to doing whatever it takes to reach someone with the love of Jesus.
My musical influences are a bit eclectic, ranging from Bluegrass to Blues to what today is called Classic Rock. Artists like Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company all influenced me before I came to Christ. Early in my walk with Christ I encountered bands like Second Chapter of Acts and Resurrection Band, as well as a pioneer in Contemporary Christian Music named Randy Stonehill.
I have been a Pastor for over 30 years and have served as the Senior Pastor of Cresthill Church, now in my 22nd year. I have been blessed in that journey to go on 4 missions trips to Nicaragua since 2000, been a part of a partnership reaching Central America for Christ, as well as partnering with Building Hope Ministries, reaching out in Jesus name to India and Nepal.
The three words that describe me are: Radical Jesus Freak
I am a part of The Project because it is about far more than just making great music-it is about making an investment in Eternity. It is about being a part of a group that raises funds and awareness, meeting people in India and Nepal at their point of physical need to point them to their ultimate answer, who is Jesus. I could be involved in a lot of things, and for that matter am-but when this opportunity came my way I jumped on it because of how it impacts people for Jesus. That is why I am allll in!
